Description
At the time of writing, fuel cell cars are essentially experimental or, at the best, in early prototype stages. There are still many issues with the fuel cells, hydrogen production and distribution etc., to be resolved before they could enter into production and it is very unlikely that they will ever become mainstream.
The general principle is to have some form of hydrogen storage in the car, feed this to a fuel cell, which will generate electricity to provide the motive power for the car.
