Description

Carbon dioxide is a colourless, odourless gas, present in air with a concentration of about 390 ppm. It is produced inter alia by the combustion of organic matter and carbon, including all fossil fuels. The increase in concentration from about 280 ppm over the last 150 years is the main cause of climate change.
