Detailed five-day weather forecast here!

The above graphic shows a summary of the current weather situation in Mosfiloti. This is renewed at 10 minute intervals while the computer is working. At night the data is logged and introduced again as soon as the computer is booted up. Note that the forecast is based on the available local data and is only a guide to what may happen in the short term, without guarantee. The icon is based on the same data.

It is possible that the above graphic, or any others on this site, may not download completely, stopping with a white line across it. This is because you have, by chance, started your download just at the time that the image is being uploaded to the server. If this happens, wait a few seconds and then hit the reload button.

This graphic shows recent data from Larnaca Airport, which is about 20 km away, close to the coast and with surrounding salt lakes. It is expected that humidity will be higher than at Mosfiloti. Note that the time is UTC: local time is 2 hours later in winter and 3 hours in summer (e.g., if it shows 1230 UTC, it will be 14:30 local time (15:30 in summer). The other three are from the other airports, Ercan being in the occupied area. As there are no metric equivalents of wind speed given in these Metar data, a good approximation may be made by averaging the mph and knots values and dividing by two, to obtain m/s. For example, 25 mph (22 kt) would result in about (25 + 22)/4 = 11.75 m/s. This is correct to better than 5%, which is probably better than the accuracy of the anemometer, anyway, especially in gusty weather.

This map shows the relative proximity of my weather station in Mosfiloti and the official one at Larnaca Airport, plus the other three Metar sites.
